就一部高階環繞前級處理器來說,AVM60的功能幾乎無所不包,內建高階32bot/768kHz差動輸出數類轉換,影像核心採用四核心數位DSP引擎,而 且有線無線兩者通吃。以有線連接來說,AVM60提供真正的平衡XLR前級輸出,讓訊號噪訊降到最低,而無線連接功能除了一般Wi-fi之外,還加入了 DTS Play-Fi功能,無論電腦、手機或平板,都可以輕鬆與AVM60連線,而且不限於CD規格的44.1kHz,無壓縮24/192 FLAC與WAV音訊檔案,AVM60通通可以「無線傳輸」。
當然,上述功能可能許多高階環繞前級或擴大機都有,AVM60好像沒有特別 偉大的地方,但是Anthem獨家ARC空間聲學校正系統,可就不是別家有的技術,而AVM60上面配備的又是Anthem頂級的ARC。基本上ARC就 是透過麥克風測量空間聲響,找出頻率響應曲線,然後透過DSP進行空間聲學修正,AVM60隨附高靈敏度麥克風,外加Windows系統的ARC軟體,把 專用麥克風插在AVM60與電腦上,透過麥克風收音測試,AVM60就會收集空間聲響的相關參數,據以修正。咦?日系環繞擴大機不也有這些功能 嗎?AVM60的ARC比日系器材更嚴謹,一個空間至少要測試5個麥克風擺設位置(要精確還可以量得更多),這樣執行ARC空間聲響修正才會更為精確。
很多環繞擴大機是日系品牌,而Anthem是少數能與之抗衡的歐美音響品牌。看看這款Anthem的多聲道環繞前級,就知道他們不簡單,AVM60的功能 極為強大,影像部份用上了四核心數位DSP晶片作為核心,聲音部份則設計了32/768差動輸出數類轉換電路,同時也是真平衡輸出電路,規格比起任何高階 兩聲道機種毫不遜色。在功能性上,本機也是有線與無線通吃,特別是無線部份,除了常見Wi-Fi外,還加入了DTS Play-Fi功能,可與電腦、手機或平板連結操控,可播放最高24/192的音樂檔案。除了以上,AVM60還配備了超厲害的ARC空間聲學校正系統, 可透過靈敏的麥克風,將測試數據與電腦連線修正(Windows系統的ARC軟體),而且一個空間至少要測試5個不同的位置(可更多),來取其平均值,精 準度絕對是旗艦等級。
